The emergence of FemiLift has helped to revolutionize the treatment of many feminine health issues that women are often unwilling to talk about. FemiLift is a non-invasive vaginal rejuvenation treatment that works, and it has quickly become a game changer for women with vaginal issues. However, one of the top questions women ask about the procedure is this – Is FemiLift treatment painful?

FemiLift

FemiLift is a non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation treatment that uses a fractional CO2 laser to remodel the vaginal tissues. It improves several feminine health concerns such as vaginal dryness, vaginal laxity, and painful sex.

It typically requires 3 FemiLift treatments spaced about 4 weeks apart to achieve the best results. The effects last approximately 24 months.

How it works

The laser probe is inserted into the vaginal canal, and rotates 360 degrees, ensuring that the entire surface of the vaginal wall is treated. The energy from the laser triggers the production of collagen, and also increases blood supply. This improves the tightness and elasticity of the vaginal tissue over time.

Is FemiLift painful?

FemiLift is a painless, comfortable treatment that requires no anesthesia, and most patients are quite relaxed throughout the 15 minute procedure. When women first hear about FemiLift they assume that there’s some pain involved, but the specialized laser probe is so small that it’s not painful at all. Some patients do feel a warm sensation as the laser energy treats the vaginal tissue, but this is very tolerable.

There is no post treatment downtime with FemiLift, so patients can resume their normal routine right after the procedure. However, they are advised to restrain from sexual activity for at least 3 days.
